Upcoming Workshop

Strategies to Improve Student Performance

It’s sometimes hard to get our children to follow through and finish what they start. Sometimes it’s homework, sometimes chores— how about piano lessons? Most of us have experienced this with our children.

LINKS in collaboration with the Mat-Su Borough School District is offering a workshop beginning in January 2010 to help parents identify strategies that will help them teach their children how to follow through and not quit before the task is done.

Ten workshops will be held across the borough (a full schedule will be available soon).

The first workshop will be held January 21, 2010, 6:00-8:00, at Shaw Elementary. The workshop will be presented by Eric Wade, former teacher and principal.
